3D ToF Technology

The ToF (time-of-flight) principle is based on measuring the time it takes for a modulated near-infrared light to travel from a source to an object and back. By calculating phase difference, it forms 3D depth information for accurate and anonymous people counting.

The 3D ToF People Counter is GDPR-compliant. By applying 3D ToF technology, it only gets 3D depth information and transmits them without involving personally identifiable information, 100% guaranteeing privacy protection at source.

99.5% Ultra-high Accuracy

Breaking through the limitation of the RGB and AI technologies which impede the higher accuracy, the 3D ToF technology efficiently increase accuracy rate to 99.5% by 3D depth information.

Smart U-Turn Detection

By detecting the U-shape tracks of people flow, the accuracy is guaranteed to avoid unnecessary people counting. For example, it filters out redundant counting of people wandering the area, especially in transportation or buildings, to differentiate people who don’t truly enter.

Bi-directional Counting

Two-way detection enriches the applications of the 3D ToF People Counter. Counting people in and out concurrently is beneficial for more accurate and objective information, reaching efficient management.

Great Lighting Environments Adaptability

Independent of ambient light, the 3D ToF People Counter with active ToF light source realizes accurate detection even in the complete dark environments.
